Honda file

The CB1000R arrived for 2008 as Honda's big naked bike for Europe, effectively replacing the ageing Hornet 900. It uses the 2007 CBR1000RR Fireblade engine retuned for low and mid-range pull, set in a gravity die-cast aluminium mono-backbone frame with a single-sided swingarm. The styling is sharp and angular, and the bike was meant to be as easy in town as it is on twisty roads.
